The Eugene & Marilyn Glick Indiana Authors Award, in partnership with the Indianapolis-Marion County Public Library, is excited to announce the 2010 Indy Author Fair, a day devoted expressly to Indiana’s talented writers.

This free event on Saturday, October 9 at the Central Library, 40 East St. Clair Street includes free public programs such as author lectures from this year’s Indiana Authors Award honorees, “how to get published” workshops for aspiring writers, and unique programs for kids ages 10-18. The day will also include a special opportunity from Noon2 p.m. for the public to chat with Indiana authors in person, buy their books and have them autographed.

  • Authors from across the state are invited to submit their name and information for consideration as a particpant in the 2010 event by visiting http://www.imcpl.org/indyauthorfair/.  (Deadline: August 20)

A full list of the day’s activities, workshops and presenters will be posted to the Indiana Authors Award Web site by early August.
