The nomination process for the 2009 Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana Authors Award is now closed. During the one-month nomination period, the Library Foundation received more than 500 nominations for nearly 200 different authors from every corner of the state. This is a wonderful showing of support for the literary arts in Indiana, and a great start for the Indiana Authors Award program. Thanks to everyone who nominated an author for this year’s award.

The task now falls to our Award Panel to determine the winner of the National Author category and the finalists of the Regional and Emerging Author categories. These results will be announced on
June 30. In the meantime, be sure to purchase your seats for the September 26 Award Dinner which will be held at Indianapolis’ Central Library.
